I've noticed that a lot of people, especially girls for some reason, have a soft spot for Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Why is that?
I kind of grew out of Pokemon at the time of release, genwunner here, and didn't get back in until Fire Red, Leaf Green. Since then I've played every main game in the series, including Emerald and ORAS.
I guess without the nostalgia it's difficult to have a fondness for it. I like these games, and there are a lot of really cool Pokemon, but I always felt like there was something missing from these games. So sell me on it, what's that special something I should try to notice on my next playthrough?
Sorry for the blogpost.
