>>43537075hm... that depends. thinking about it, including seasons similar to b/w would work perfectly with foraging and Pokedex stuff, it would change encounters/foragables and make things feel more realistic. however, at the same time i feel like that would be overwhelming? if i were to have, say, every foragable realistically change with each month, then filling the dex would take a very long time and it would be really hard to get a solid understanding of what appears where and why. same goes for pokemon, it'd be even harder to find ones you want. although the more i think of seasons, the more i like it, i just have to play it really safe. I think i might do it. the outfits shown then will be spring.
this just makes me even more excited to start planing what pokemon im including and what kind of flora the pokemon world would have and why. im thinking of taking inspirations from mystical plants found commonly in jrpgs but having some realistic plants as well, there uses are for things like the herbs you could buy in past games, similar herbs that work like potions and the like but can be held by pokemon as well, and held items with battle effects. selling too, of course, i like that aspect of collectibles, personally, being able to sell unneeded ones to be able to buy supplies in the future is really satisfying (and is one of the parts of swsh i actually really liked, though all my time in the wild area overleveled my pokemon to the point where i needed to swap on so many new team members that i had a full box by the end of it) but i dont want to plan that stuff out fully yet, i want to start thinking about the region first. i have, as shown above again, a loose plan and some ideas (for example, in the area based on Yamagata i know there's gonna be lots of cherubi) but i need to get my ass in gear and start doing that stuff
thanks for all the ideas and support guys! its real fun :D
