More seriously though, I'll run the digimon argument by you again, since I'm curious about why you think it's a bad one. The only reason you've given for it being bad is that I jokingly said

I don't really think that it's meaningless when sufficiently argued, which I why I bothered doing so in the first place. I think it's a good point because looking more like the creature designs of another series rather than its own makes a design feel awkward and out of place in its own setting, at odds with the rest and thus bad in its context. I say this here:
