Despite originating from here, Faunazon wasn't initially created to be a meme. I'm sure the creator wanted people to take the design seriously. For the most part it's competently designed imo. But I would say after significant shilling, it caught on with waifufags, coomers and furries and became a meme that eventually sprouted a genuine fanbase. It's a design that is for the most part taken seriously atleast by those in that sect here.
While Tentaquil has it's fans (moreso than the former), it's not really considered a design worth taking seriously and is more or less still here out of a big joke. No one takes it seriously. People know it's bad, but that's the appeal of it and the purpose for it's existence.
