>>43497708Sun and moon were willing to have characters act like villains while ultra sun and moon seemed like they were afraid to have anyone look too bad, aside from the rainbow rocket segment. It makes for a more interesting story to have good, bad, and mixed characters.
But if you are only interested in what fits best into the cannon then any game that allows for alternate dimensions/realities would allow for every game to be cannon. Even every individual file that people play in their games could be considered cannon in its own alternate universe.
