I loved Darmanitan enough to use it both on the romanized Black ROM and physical cart after the game released overseas. It's still in my top ten, and blanco icy apefuck scores equally. Though they really should've let Rillaboom have Gorilla Tactics instead.

Ice type is such a fucking terribad defensive typing that currently the only good ice types are at least slightly broken. Consider that even ignoring the numerous weaknesses, Ice doesnt get shit for passives as a type except for immunity to a shit weather that no one uses (or has any reason to).

Darmanitan is one of the very few goofy designs I actually don't mind. I never got why that is though. I guess it might be because its integrated into the design well enough to not come off as jarring.

Actually, you can stack a Choice boost with Gorilla Tactics. The main HE set is Jolly Gorilla Tactics + Choice Scarf (since Gorilla Tactics already boosts the first move selected and you'd be a total dumbass if you ran special moves off HE's 30 base SpA)
