As soon as gen 4 rolled around, it was better than Dewgong and Lapras
Was better than Cloyster until Shell Smash became Cloyster's hat, but Cloyster does appreciate Stab Icicle Spear, so point.
Omastar is discount Cloyster
Poliwrath had the same problems as 'gatr, was marginally better off because there are actually one or two fighting moves that exist in gens 2 and 3, but then it never got better.
Slowbro was carried by Psychic typing in gen 1, broke even with it in gens 2-3/4, and from gen 5 onward, Regenerator became its claim to fame. At this point, Psychic actually holds it back. Less now that Pursuit is gone, but still. Point, I guess?
Gyarados has always directly outclassed Feraligatr, but it generally can't actually use its Flying Stab, so for all intents and purposes, offensively Gyarados is mono-water, it just has shittier defensive typing. Feel free to add a point when Gyarados has reliable physical flying Stab.
Starmie is fucking Starmie. Point.
Kabutops is such a weird pokemon, holy shit. If you ever fuck around with the alternative metas Smogon puts out, you come to learn how close Kabutops is to being a dominating threat. point for that alone.
Ludicolo actively gets large amounts of utility out of Grass. Point, and also a huge point for Grass.
Swampert's Water/Ground
Wiscash is ass, but that's more due to it being outclassed by both Swampert and Quagsire than it particularly sucking.
Pelipper was ass until it got Drizzle, now is used almost exclusively for being marginally better than Politoed
Relicanth is ass
Crawdaunt was ass before it got Adaptability. Its Dark typing Is nice for Stab Knock Off now, though. Weak point.
Seismetoad is Water/Ground
Jelicent doesn't get much out of its Ghost typing besides a weakness to Knock Off, and I don't think you can convince me Normal and Fighting immunity are worth that.
Empoleon genuinely appreciates Steel. Point.
Gastrodon is Water/Ground
