>>43511482To be fair, the "quality" of pokemon hasn't really changed much, it's just stagnant. That's why most people just don't care, and other are seeing the games as inferior because they don't reach the standards of the current gen of consoles. Meanwhile, with the other two, you can easily tell how awful they have become, Paper Mario stopped being an actual RPG with SPM (a good game, just not a good Paper Mario game), and then it just became shit after Sticker Star, not only because Miyamoto, but he's clearly not innocent either.
I don't care much about Sonic, but even someone like me can see how awful most recent games are. I actually played Forces and it was awful, Sword/Shield are masterpieces compared to it
