Let's be honest /vp/, there's no way the series can cope with the current direction it's taking. Leading up to Gen 5 the games were spaced out over a few years with small spinoffs along the way to keep us happy but now they're milking the series dry by trying to force a new mainline title out every year. Given how the games are supposed to both introduce a new gimmick as well as a bunch of new Pokemon there's simply no way the series can sustain without truly going to utter pigshit tier of low quality. What do you propose happens now, if things continue as they are?
