You can pirate using a switch, as long as you don't use online. You can also boot normally still, for other games as well.

I finally emulated this since it finally werks.
I honestly thought there was no way to make a Pokemon game with less content than X/Y. I was wrong.
How is this thing selling so well? I don't understand. Is it because of the memes literally? Or because the fem MC looks cute so coomers buy it without thinking twice?
I legit don't understand. It's such a mediocre game. And a mediocre Pokemon game.
The music is nice sometimes. That's about it.

Played it on my hacked Switch when it leaked ~2 days before release.
Beat it in the same evening and then instantly deleted it. Holy shit, fuck Game Freak.

You overestimate how large the pirate demographic is. You'll find a quite a few here and maybe on reddit's or something, but by and large the sales come from normies or parents buying games for children. Angry dexit people are by no means the majority as long as parents keep buying for kids and casual who don't care keep buying
