Am I the only one who thinks they release new generations and games too frequently? Otherwise we wouldn't need any gay dexcuts until a lot later.

Of course you're not the only one. Since the release of Sun and Moon in 2016, there has been a new mainline Pokemon every year. It becomes tiresome after a while.

Gen 6 was rushed and was missing a ton of content that was planned, just to have gen 7 come out and be just as rushed, then have Ultra changes fail to add the content that was missing from the originals. If they focus on one game per generation and leave side games to other studios we could go back to having games of the DS era's quality

The only reason we do require dex cuts is because the developers are mostly neurotypicals. They do not possess the natural ability to handle large amounts of data and patterns, which is also why they 'needed' to remove moves from the game too. You are correct that it is a 'need' to cut Pokemon from the dex, but only because their employees are not sufficient enough for the task they've been assigned.

There is objectively more content and polish and care put into in the DS games than in current games. I'm not saying they're perfect games, just that future games could be better than the mediocrity that we've had since gen 6

It's all because of the stupid fucking 20th anniversary. For some reason, they thought they just had to "surprise" us with a new gen, rather than taking they're time. X&Y is probably the game that needed a third version the most, and after B2W2 came out, Game Freak proved everyone that a third version can be unique from its parents, but nope. They just had to release a new generation

Not him but it’s pretty obvious Gamefreak has realized they can cater exclusively to braindead normalfags and even lie straight to their faces and make a colossal profit in doing so. Kanto pandering is profitable. Gimmicks are profitable. Linear regions are profitable. Waifus? Profitable. Postgame consisting of nothing but breeding and online battles? Profitable. This series will never resemble anything good because it is made to appeal to the lowest common denominator who will buy it on brand alone. It’s not even about the Pokémon themselves anymore, plenty of you fags bought it anyway even though your bro’s are nowhere to be seen. LGPE was an inferior remake of an ancient 90’s game with even less content than the original and normalfags ate it right up.

I don’t have an issue with the dex cut for making certain Pokémon have a moment to shine. The problem is they still plan to add all the bullshit like landorus and Garchomp in to once again dominate the meta. What makes the cut even worse is they promised us better animations and models and all we got was rehashed shit again. I don’t think inherently people would be as upset about the cut if the other promises actually happened. I live in the American Midwest and I don’t expect to look out my window and see an elephant or a tiger (even if tiger king has me thinking the opposite) so to assume all Pokémon would be everywhere is a bit much. But although I would hope Gamefreak would be fair and rotate all Pokémon in, I can’t help but feel as if they couldn’t tell the difference between their head and their ass.

That's right but no one expected all previous 809 Pokémon to be in SwSh, just the ability to transfer them or get them via GTS.
