Taking advantage of downtime to create a fakemon dex using our former OP/kaijuanon's artistic talents!
In previous threads anons rolled a 1, 5, 7 or dubs to get a mon in the dex, then OP would make a design based off of it.
In this image you can see what's been done and the results of these rolls.
This started as an art project for OP, but we'll use Pokemon Crystal to put these guys in Crystal. Not trying to make a full-fledged new region like Sage/Clover means no dev hell or feature bloat - just use the open source stuff to make a fun game. While the Pokemon will change to be the ones shown in pic related and some beta mons, don't expect anything on the level of Pokemon Prism or something.

>what's going on now
Priorities right now are to work on dex entries/movepools/stats/etc for the early route mons and plan out mon distribution in route order, as we’re implementing the early route mons right now. Also, what game text should be changed? Either from necessity or for flavor. Again keep the text from earlier parts of the game in mind like the Slowpoke Well portion of the game, things that are VERY Pokémon-specific and would clash with what we’re doing.
