There will be a companion gacha lootbox mobile app that is required to catch 50% of the mons in the regional dex. Pokemon home will get a super premium version that costs $60 a year, it will be required to connect to gen 9. They'll even reuse the tree model and texture from swsh.

Same deal here - home's a separate entity to NSO and as it's a whole other entity, it's its own purchase.

They've only done something like Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon once. Even if you stretch and cout it, it was nine years after Plat. Gens 5 and 6 had nothing of the sort, instead getting either e legit sequel or a remake.
