Fix Comp. In 3 decisions or less:

Ban Teleport

Create viable mon with bug immunity to stop uturn spam (inb4 screeching bug fags don't realize uturn spam IS NOT from bug types)

And that's it, i did it in two.

Remove all RNG based mechanics and either replace them with something different (like give a different downside to moves like Fire Blast) or just remove them entirely (like flinching on everything besides fake out)

Nerf the top 5 types (Steel, Fairy, Water, Ground, Flying) by buffing the bottom 5 types (Ice, Bug, Fighting, Rock, Grass) to have slightly better match-ups

When using U-turn, Volt Switch, Baton Pass, Parting Shot, and Teleport, you must select the Pokemon you want to switch to before the turn starts.

I have no idea.
Even if you let me make an unlimited number of decisions, I'd still miss something and the players would end up exploiting it and fucking up the meta.
Constant tweaks and balance patches are necessary, especially for a game with as many options as Pokemon.

That wouldn't really affect much since you usually have a choice in mind when you select it.

I disagree. Too many games do this now, where every month something changes and you have to relearn everything. The nice thing about Pokemon is once it's out, everything is locked in until the next game, so you have a stable base to work with for a year. And the sad thing is that's not even fully true anymore with things like the 2019 VGC changing their rules every four months, or 2020 adding new Pokemon and Gigantamaxes every month or two.
