imo fan artwork, stories, and games should be fully allowed as long as their not monetary. companies behind such IPs should seek out fan creators, since this motherfucker is clearly doing better than all of gamefreak now at making a pretty game
what i think is wrong is when fan content pretends to be the real content (see: bootlegs trying to be pokemon, and the king james bible)
