If starters are going to be given human themes and aesthetic elements going forward, then I feel like it's worth saying that this feels more natural on some animals than others. The way I see it, a creature that has a lot to do with humans already pulls this trend off better than ones that don't. Take Incineroar for example. Litten is designed after a domestic cat, and it gains tiger-like traits as it evolves. Since it starts out as a very domestic creature it seems feasible for its final form to have human influence, especially with the fire bell bridging the gap to the fire champion belt. The Litten line were never really wild creatures, and their evolutionary progression reflects this. Contrast this with something like Inteleon. Why is a chameleon standing on two legs and dressed like a secret agent? These lizards have nothing to do with people and are only rarely seen as pets, there isn't as solid of a justification for its anthropomorphism here.
