I'm tired of those roadblocks that try to stop you from finding high-level wild pokemon in routes (i guess that's what they're for) when you can face them in the wild area just fine, the games giving you overpowered mons because they don't have the tiniest spec of hope in you as a player defeating the sea of trainers with underleveled shitmons with 2-3 moves each, the "hey player, don't go exploring, i have to tell you how to use a potion and stop you from playing the way you want, finding stuff for yourself isn't playing the way gamefreak wants you to" cutscenes, and the gym leaders or almost any trainer in the story telling you how amazing and inspiring you and your pokemon are after pressing water gun thrice to defeat his two gravelers and a magcargo.
I also hate pokemon models standing in front of each other lifelessly and just coughing when they take damage (i mean, Lucario always had an action or combat pose in 2D, and then its well-made 3D model is just it standing still bored out of its mind), and gamefreak's fear of rebalancing mons and make a good meta because apparently they will physically die if they even try
