agreed, N is just spam fighting move to win. my only issue is that Ghetsis doesn’t use held items until BW2. I can get not giving Hydreigon a Life Orb cause that would be overkill tee bee ach, but at the very least Cofagrigus should hold Leftovers.

yes i would just replace the 3rd one with vs Red in the Joghto games also I may sub out Cyrus with the wally battle in OR/AS, for some reason seeing how much the little guy has overcome to give you a challenging battle is a feel good moment...

Most kino battle in the last couple generations, IMO. Wally was still underutilized in ORAS, but they gave him a final showdown with the atmosphere of a good rival. ORAS Wally is up there with Blue and Silver.

I would like Lusamine fight more if she was a proper boss that you get to attack too, given her fused form. Like every time you defeat one of her buffed pokemon, she gets her turn to attack or drop some nasty debuffs on you, and you have to damage her a bit so she sends the next mon. The way she was it kinda felt underwhelming.

The most kino is Red by far. No need for lengthy dialogue to set the scene, you just reach the top of the mountain and find a lone trainer standing there, then he battles you without saying a word. There have been numerous improvements to the series since, but that single moment has not been topped.

My younger cousin got me to catch Reshiram for him when he got to him. As soon as I got the DS, I went straight to the bag and threw a regular Pokeball at him at full health, no status effects. I caught him first try. It was the most incredible thing I've ever done in a Pokemon game.
