The Physical ones don't have it much better but they're almost always dual typed unlike Special.

i tried using lilligant in an ingame run based on this board's recommendation and it was always a hassle quivering up until giga drain could actually do anything. It gets sleep powder and leech seed too and that's basically it. liligant lacks too much immediate power and might be one of the worst users of the move

Why every type doesn't have a super generic readily available 80 BP 100 Acc attack for both physical and special I'll never know. Weak enough that going for a riskier option will be valid but strong enough for when that option isn't taken, or even present at all because of the design.
Why Earthquake is allowed to exist while types like Rock and Electric have to rely on unreliable shit like Rock Slide vs Stone Edge or just awful moves like Wild Charge is a mystery.

this issue isn't necessarily that the moves don't exist. Power Gem is a basic 80 BP/100% Acc Rock-type special move but all the Rock-types that might want to make use of it get Ancient Power instead.

They missed an opportunity to make Gigalith a special attacking crystal beast with shit like Earth Power, Power Gem and Flash Cannon

This was far more inexcusable before the physical/special split, especially with how shit learnsets in Gen I and II are.

This is true for a lot of these situations yeah, Zing Zap could easily be distributed way more than solve the problem for Physical Electric as another example.
But it's not the case for Rock where the choice is just straight up Shit Slide and Stone Miss. There just straight up isn't a an existing Physical rock move with a good BP/ACC ratio without a downside. Diamond Storm none withstanding of course, which nobody wants to see become widespread.

There are no Dark-types that suffered due to the split. Sneasel, Absol, Tyranitar, Crawdaunt, Shiftry and Sharpedo are all physical leaning attackers that preferred being able to use their stronger attacking type. Houndoom was a Special Attacker to begin with and now got Dark Pulse. Murkrow and Sableye were unusable shitmons, so this post doesn't make sense unless you really liked using Tyraniboah

This type balance argument is bullshit, dragon has very few type resist and yet it has a bunch of powerful moves for both special and physical. Gamefreak is just full of retards who think dragapult getting an 80 base power physical ghost type move is gonna break the game.

Soul-Heart works slightly differently.
Moxie only works if the mon with Moxie is the one to KO the opponent.
Soul-Heart makes you get a boost every time a mon faints with Magearna on the field.

gamefreak thought people were going to use aegislash primarility physically when its strongest ghost stab is shadow claw and it's vulnerable to burns on that end so they clearly don't play their own game. still, even after saying that you would expect them to actually create a stronger ghost-type move for physical attackers
