Ironically it's not great against OU's main fighting mon, av conk, but it brings way more to the table

Good bait, I'll reply

You need only 20 evs to outspeed clef (though you probably invest 72 to beat out corv) and 252+ gunk shot always one hit kills

Weakened clef also dislikes switching into close combat, and bullet punch exists if you want bulk and pair with max hp/spdef/assvest

Typically I'd default back to "friendly stat drops do not proct Defiant/Competitive", but I'm not sure in this case since technically the stat drop stems from Octolock passively as opposed to directly as the move occurs. I'd need to test this.
