My original GBA for Pokemon is cracked and leaking now. Anyone know what to watch out for when buying a screen modded GBA?

Don’t fucking get the Chinese knock off of the funnyplaying ips. You want the authentic funnyplaying ips V2. V1 has terrible screen tearing. This is the Chinese knock off which is also terrible. Notice the ribbon cable. You don’t want that one. Get a kit from the official funnyplaying website.

I'd recommend you to get an AGS 101
If you want a "regular" GBA with backlight i suggest you to mod it yourself with an IPS screen or get a friend that can do it for you to avoid possible scams
