>>43570066>Someone encores you as you set up or use status movesSeems like a one time denial button, like a counter spell in Magic.
>Now you can just Dynamax to ignore itOne single time.
>You get locked into a choiced attack, and the opponent’s revenge killer resists that attackCool, so now revenge killers have a counter and don’t get to run around doing whatever.
>You can just use Dynamax, use a super effective attack, and you’ll have double the HP to survive nearly everythingSeems like you should read that then. Everyone has the same amount of information to start the game with.
>Start setting up before your opponent’s walls are weakened/removedSo stall which does nothing but stall gets a nerf
>Just Dynamax when they come out and hit them with Max Moves that have a BP on par with Draco Meteor/Boom Burst that get a boost in power with Weather, Terrain, and stat changeAlright so Pokémon that already had access to those high BP moves don’t get a big boost, but Pokémon that wouldn’t have those moves get a boost in power temporarily where as those more powerful Pokémon (that can still max) always have access to said power. It is almost as if they don’t want to shake up any “meta” by centralizing the power in a few Pokémon that have always (or would have always) had that power anyways. A Pokémon like Durant however would never be viable in top tiers but because of Max he gets some cool tricks and actually makes you think around other strategies. It isn’t broken, or just makes people have to change their game plan they have used for the last decade and a half.
