Being a Pokemon Trainer would be difficult, but awesome at the same time.

>Travel around the world.
>Meet Pokemon
>Don't need to worry about work, if you are a good trainer you can gain a lot
>Have a lot of Pokemon in your side
>Sleep outdoors, like in the woods for example.
>Have a cute partner, pic related for exampled
>Easy to make friendship with anyone

But best of all, living a real adventure.

You do have to worry about work, it is your work, you're pretty much a freelancer, if you're not a good enough trainer to get enough to live by winning battles you'll have to make ends meet with other ways

Yeah but everyone can try to be a pokemon trainer, if you sucks, then yes, for that person living in the pokemon world, wouldn't change that much

Think about the Pokemon world though, even if you can't beat gym leaders or random route trainers you can still explore the wilderness and find objects of interest to sell. I'd imagine the pokemon world would function like an MMO where trainers can focus on "PvE" and get money from wild battles, pick-up ability, rock smash, etc.

You could have a day job, being a trainer isnt a full time commitment, or much of a commitment at all. Literally just feed you Pokemon so they dont die.

I've always wondered about them.
Are they not interested in being the champion? Or can you only even attempt it with the permission of the regional professor? Are they just wandering there or can you fill out a job application and get assigned a route to patrol and battle up and coming kids taking on the gym challenge?

There are pokemon that train by working. For example, there a lot of fighting types that treat construction work as training.

I've always had a headcanon that most "casual" trainers only own 3 pokemon and don't go past that, which is why most battle facilities only have 3v3 battles, owning a full team of 6 would be difficult and only for serious trainers who are able to dedicate their time to caring for 6 battle-ready pokemon.

Rather than autism that just makes sense. I mean, look at the people who own pets. Normally they won't go past two or three and regular animals are nothing compared to Pokemon. Having the same situation exist when it comes to Pokemon is perfectly understandable.
