>>43573081>post game facilities are the only places you get never ending single player contentI get that, but usually if I want more content I'll just start a new file.
>and a variety of different battle stylesBeyond the Factory and its clones, most of the gimmicks beyond singles/doubles/triples/rotation have been mediocre at best. I genuinely didn't enjoy most of the facilities in the Emerald Battle Frontier - not as a kid, not replaying it when I was a teenager, and not replaying it when I was an adult. The Factory is fun from time to time, but nothing huge.
>battle tree and subway and maison got tedious immediately. And I feel that way about the Frontier.
>At the minimum a Battle Factory should be included in each gameIt would make as much sense as having a Battle Tower clone in each game, sure.
I wasn't saying ORAS isn't bad; I was saying that I have a problem with people using the Battle Frontier as their main argument against it. ORAS are the only mainline game I've only played once. But I've seen a lot of people at least imply that the lack of Battle Frontier is THE reason ORAS are bad - that is to say, that RS are just as bad as ORAS because they don't have the Frontier.
>every single NPC in the games tells you about building bondsThey also tell you not to care if a Pokemon is strong or weak. They also tell you that Legendaries are god-like beings beyond human control. NPCs say a lot of things that contradict both how players play and how gameplay is.
>There's children who actually physically get attachedThere are children who get attached to characters in other games, too. Do we need a transferring feature in every series?
>shiny hunters who autistically get attached to themAnd why does that matter?
>breeders who by now are tired of playing bike simulator every time a new gen comes out.Just grind those oh-so-enjoyable battle facilities for Bottle Caps. Didn't SWSH add something for Natures, too? All you need to breed for now are Egg Moves.
