Well, yes. The deal is that a lot of Digimon designs are 10/10 monster designs. The problem is that they also start to get very samey after a while, all following similar patterns, and some REALLY go off the rails into over design territory.

I always appreciated the detail in Digimon's feet. Makes the designs look much more complete than Pokemon's overuse of stubs.

Quite a few are simple, but detailed. The main issues are that Digimon:

>1: Has palette swaps as separate species
>2: Has less consistency with evolution than Pokemon
>3: Has, for its more complex designs, radically more complexity
