Forget about the OC stuff but is there a modern version where all the caracters are not blacks? GSC is set in Japan, there's no need for all population to be dark skinned,

Don't bother, the wild pokemon don't scale like the gym leaders do, so while technically it's """open world""" you'll be running into level 30 tier shit, plus the dev completely replaced the elite 4 with his discord tranny friends and made himself the champion like a faggot, there's a whole bunch of other ocs littered in the game too and he also refuses to open up his code so that people could mod the hack and remove his donut steel elite 4

You see the final boss once, maybe twice if you do the sword item quest, and you can mostly ignore his faggot friends too, but the dark skinned NPCs break the immersion too damn much. I'm not even agaist the blacks but imagine if you were watching a movie/playing a game about Nambia or something but all the characters were asians, that'll piss you off too.

I never really read the games as being in Japan outside of the namesake, especially since they change the names in the localization.
Honestly I think the only problem with there being black people in the game is that the sprites look like shit and clash with the black and white of everything else

My problem is this, they look fucking horrendous, I don't have an issue with dark skinned npcs in Galar for example, but the gen 2 graphics make dark skinned characters look like shit, and it's clearly a pointless change purely done for "muh diversity" so there was literally no reason to make everything worse to look at
