The real question, gentlemen, is why Ivysaur?
Nowhere in any of Gardenia’s appearances (in-game, either manga, spinoffs, etc) does she own an Ivysaur or even a Venusaur. So why use this particular Pokemon?
Gardenia does own a Turtwig, so I remain befuddled as to why the original gif did not feature a Grotle (who can, of course, learn Vine Whip)
