Why is Vileplume so forgettable for a Kantomon? I barely hear anyone ever talking about it.

the real forgettable kantomons are the ones like kingler and lickitung. kingler got a fucking gmax yet noone talks about it

Because Victreebel is a much more memorable design. Vileplume is basically just Venusaur without the Saur.

That's what I was thinking, but Vileplume, unlike Victrebeel, did appear in RSE, and I preferred using it over Victrebeel in Gen 3 because it learn Petal Dance.

It originally had the same body color as vileplume in concept art but gf changed it to green because they didn't want a dark skinned hula girl pokemon after the jynx controversy.

I think it's got more of a quiet fan base. There is a bunch of Vileplume merch out there. The Vileplume GX card in the card game is just about my favorite card to have in my deck too.
I kinda like it. The loud fanbases are fucking embarassing.

Vileplume is great in-game, I used one in Moon when I traded a team in and Giga Drain/Sludge Bomb/Dazzling Gleam/Sleep Powder worked really well.

Cute, but Bellossom's don't have feet, I don't know why they'd suddenly grow them on a Mega. Also yeah it'd probably be Grass/Fairy, but I'd like something else. Grass/Ice, Grass/Fire, Grass/Dark might be neat.

The only Pokemon who get shilled relentlessly are Pikachu, Charizard, Eevee, & Lucario.
Even with Meowth getting lots of forms, that's it. He's only really cared about in the anime
