>I invite a ''friend'' (who hasn't played a single pokemon game in his life since Yellow and is the typical person who was a Pokemon fan because he saw the anime when was popular, and btw this person nowdays unironically thinks that Ash is the best), to play Pokémon with me, in a battle against me, using my two 3DS, because we were both bored and we needed something to do and waste time.
>In the middle of the battle, my "friend" discovers the following revelation: Psychic isn't strong against Ghost, is the other way around, Ghost is strong against Psychic.
>This leaves him completely traumatized somehow.
> He starts yelling a lot of shit at me about Kanto this and Kanto this, and Kanto that, the point is that every thing Pokemon did after Kanto was a mistake, and Kanto is beautiful and perfect and something something Kanto.
> I explain to him that if he had paid attention to the anime that he liked so much, or if he had a better memory, he would remember that in the Anime they explain that Ghost strong against Psychic, since Ash went in search of a Haunter to defeat Sabrina.
>He keeps yelling at me nonsense shit about how Kanto something something Kanto.
>I try to make him understand, subtly, that when he was a child he never really learned how to play pokémon and he doesn't even understand how the mechanics of the games works.
> Somehow, this discussion leads to the following stupid nonsense discussion, about him telling me the following: "DREAM EATER BEING A PSYCHIC-TYPE ATTACK IS A MISTAKE AND MAKES NO SENSE, IT SHOULD BE A GHOST-TYPE ATTACK".
> I make it clear to this person, that I don't want to try to play pokémon with him again, in all my life.
>He decides to tell me that this was all my fault for using a ghost-type mon in our battle, and that I didn't respect him as a person for doing that.
yes I know that in Gen 1 psychic-type mons are immune to Lick, but that wasn't really what my ''friend'' was trying to tell me..
