Emboar learns Flamethrower (Lv. 43), Grass Knot (TM86) and Scald (TM55). Why would you ever choose anyone else in Gen 5 as your starter? She straight up makes the other two starters obsolete.

Because she's a fat cunt, so grass knot's dire as a weapon and her defences are dogshit, so it'd be better hitting with physical moves and ending battles quicker than mucking about with paltry 100 Sp. Attk and getting punished for your folly.
