In fact, I'm glad it sold well. I hope it continues to sell well, and beat even gold and silver, becoming the 2nd best selling games of the series.
You want to know why?
The better it sells, the worse gen 9 is going to be. Game freak thought they were taking a risk and seeing how many corners they cut and still sell, and were just given a giant signal to go right ahead. I don't care if it gets worse, I wasn't going to buy it in the first place.
I want them to choke on their "victory" when gen 9 comes out.
