I don't even really care, Pokemon is my favorite franchise in the world, yet I'll buy whatever comes out next, even though the series has been dying for me the past 3 gens. Gen 8 really hurt me.

Not sure how the Rona effects their pipeline as far as Gamefreak is concerned. I'm sure there'll be another mobile game that gets announced since it's not very hard to make those. The DLC coming out will delay any mainline game announcements until at least a couple months after Tundra's release (it's life may go on longer with legendary raid events).

It appears Gamefreak is trying to do more overworld/ Wild Area things right now. Only way DP could work with that would be to have Mt. Coronet be an open world area with multiple exits for each town/ Spear Pillar. Could be quite a challenge for Gamefreak as it seems the Wild Area was extremely taxing on SWSH's development and it's still basic as fuck.

I want them to release a Gen 4 and 5 remake.

Let me explain better, it's a two version game where one version is a remake of Platinum and the other version is like a remake of a 'Grey' version.

One has the more traditional old gen dex and the other has more newer mons.

They're counterparts to each other and the last remakes they'll ever make.

That's it.

Maybe 2021 is sinnoh remakes as it is 25th anniversary and 15th anniversary of sinnoh. Then 2022 is gen 9 because generation only last 3 years now but maybe it will extend for 1 more year this time due to the virus?
