I know the Orange League was just filler but I loved it as a kid. I wish they'd revisit it with more fleshes out lore using these versions.

Diamond and Pearl were the first generation I didn't buy a game from on release because I thought they were stupid names.

Luckily for me, Platinum was superior in every way.

they’re commonly used variables. Gamefreak didn’t know what the games would be called, and had “x and y” as placeholders.
Then they literally just kept it.
