Am I the only one who remembers some kind of insane powercreep once you beat the game? I could never beat the EX team battles or royales because the Pokémon were so strong and to make Pokémon you had access to stronger took some insane amount of grinding.

S-Hard AI is prone to auto sabotage if you are somewhat good the AI can try to go all out in an attempt to counter attack and end up with no blocks to do a single combination, if the AI doesn't brainfarts in the first minutes, you would usually stall as much as you can until it does

frogot to add, that's what high end gameplay is like anyways, you can't kill your opponent by sending them tons and tons of garbage, its more of an endurance battle until either of the players makes a mistake and loses

This game sucks, but the dual slot mode is wacky fun. It automatically creates courses based on the sprites of your party in your GBA game. You can only imagine the mess of tiles.
Now, Pokémon Trozei, that's a good Gen III DS game.

It is a racing game, but they designed it so you had to scratch the shit out of your screen to advance so it is fucking trash
Also you don't have to do it at average speed, but insanely fast and the accuracy isn't as good as in HGSS, so tl;dr is complete trash because of bad control scheme

I have this game but not in a way that I think counts.
I homebrewed my Wii and have nintendont on it and let it use my native hardware, I like playing this on it and storing all my Gen 3 mons on it whenever I restart one of my GBA games.
From what I know about it though it seems rather obscure and isn't really a game in the traditional sense, and is more of a tool and emulator.
A nice little relic of the Gen 3 era, I enjoyed how interconnected the games were in Gens 3 and 4.

That sounds like it could of been fun so it's unfortunate how badly it was made, I'm a bit surprised there wasn't more quality control given how TPC is rather stingy with side-games, or so I thought.

It never merited to be its own thing nor to be so rare
Thankfully you can pirate it like you say and it works on any memory card as well.
You can get some gimmicky mons from it as well.

Yeah, I appreciate it for what it is but it would of been received so much better and had a better legacy if it was bundled like you said.
It's been a godsend for not losing my Gen 3 mons whenever I wanted to restart one.
For years now I've used it to store Pokemon of mine from Emerald and Firered, and when I'm particularly patient, Colosseum and XD.
It's a cute time capsule for me.
Here's a Golbat of mine from when I was 16 give or take, I'm 20 now so he's an oldie when it comes to Pokemon.

N64 version is anime aesthetics and I don't like it as much for that reason, but it's still good and the same gameplay. If you don't care about the Pokemon theme slapped on it and would rather have Yoshi characters there's also Tetris Attack for SNES, it's the same thing, it has nothing to do with regular Tetris.

All my mons are sitting in Ultra Moon, with a few outliers in Pokemon Box R&S so I have some to play around with in Gen 3.
I dunno who my oldest is? I wanna say the same year as you, but I'm not sure, it's been so long.
Here are some veterans of mine from XD who I had when I was who knows how old if I remember correctly?
These two were my favourites for a while and I used them in tons of double battles, these two are some of my fondest.

A complete Pokédex counts all of the alternate forms of Pokémon.
Legendary Pokémon have a 1/20 chance of appearing at the end of a given stage, the type of stage dictating what kinds will appear.
When Arceus appears, it can be any of its 18 types.

The odds of getting a specific Arceus at the end of a stage were really fucking low, and even then you weren't guaranteed to get it to drop. I fucking endured though.

Do you know why the demand for Box is so great? Because of all the features that it had. A storage system where you can hold 1,500 Pokémon, get rewarded eggs for it, be able to play your game on the th, etc. There is no way TPC could’ve been able to keep up with demand in production.

A Pokemon game for battles only. To play you need a pokemon figurine that works as an amiibo, if you dont have a fifurine you cant play, if your pokemon faints and you dont have any other figurine you lose. I think I beat the game with just a Venusaur once. Then I got an Infernape and a Groudon.

No they weren’t, Pokémon Box was of limited production, and in the US it was only sold in that Nintendo store in New York and in Europe it could only be got by buying a GameCube bundle
