Gen 2 Cianwood City felt kinda like that too. I guess it's just how japanese islands are.
Anyway despite whatever /vp/ might say those three are my favorite regions since they are the most organic. I would like to explore whatever regions are north of it beyond the mountains, but maybe it's better to leave it to the imagination.
