I know the games are bad, they were purposefully left incomplete so gamefreak could add the DLC later (everyone that bought them is just waiting for the DLC, i'm playing other games because i genuinely got bored).
It's just that, around here, we used to have a big community (60+ different guys, normally close to 30 at the same time) that gathered to battle and trade pokemon in a local plaza during gen 6 (it was even larger before), come gen 7 they were around 20 total and only gathered for about a year, with less people each weekend; by the time USUM came out there was nobody to be found, and it has stayed like that since then.
I always assumed that they just migrated to the internet and played from their houses (but finding only a few of them playing pokemon online was suspicious, since i had many of them registered as friends).
I want to know how many active players in relation to buyers those games have, i want to see if the phillosophy of making the games disposable is truly killing the games and the community.
