Let's say they do. That puts us at the 1st of June. I doubt Melmetal is being released before the DLC. Anyway, safe bet that news will not come until at least the Eevee event ends, and if instead they launch a Meowth event then inews is probably coming in the first week of June. At that point it'll basically be a launch trailer, like the recent Mario Maker 2 update vid. That threw out a ton of content all at once, and the update went live two days later. Will Pokemon release similarly? Who knows. Not very Gamefreak-like, but as all the remaining Gigantamaxes are releasing in quick succession, we might be getting it very soon. (Original release date for the Coco movie was going to be the 10th, that's pushed back but they're probably going to launch the update prior to the 10th still so Zarude would have been compatible)
