Wouldn't just dumping 999x TMs on you completely break money management since you can just sell them? Why not just have TMs reusable instead of just giving an absurd quantity of them considering that Clover, which was made using FRLG's engine, also had gen 5's TM mechanics?

Gen 4 is harder to hack then gen 3. He said he'd like Infinite TM's but can't hack it in. As for the money thing, I assume he just set the sell value to 0 or 1.

I hate it because it’s so hard. Clover is proof that /vp/ will never make a good Pokémon game because we’re all autistically fixated on the idea that more challenge=more fun. Personally I think Pokemmo strikes a good balance of difficulty, but it has its own problems.
Of course, I expect this entire post to be ignored and given a canned response of “get good laugh out loud”.

Is this a common trap that modders fall into? Surely most people would've learned that having the first Gym leader have a party of 6 is a bad idea. The first four to six gyms (assuming 8 overall) should never have more Pokemon in their party that what most people should realistically have and intend to use at that point. Tacking on and raising an additional mon you have absolutely zero intention of using just to muscle through a gym creates tedium.
