Since nobody care about SWSH DLC, what do you expect to see next year from Pokemon? Will it be a gap year or gen 4 remakes? Or maybe something left field like Let's Go Johto?

Probably DP remakes next year, then Gen IX in 2022. They don't care for you any more old boy, the fact they've been releasing on a 3 year cycle since the 2010's started is indicative of THAT one.

More spin-offs, as well. You had colosseum, XD, battle Revolution, the first two mystery dungeons, the first ranger game, Gen 3 pinball, Pokemon Channel, Pokemon Dash and trozei during that mid-2000s time. There's basically non of that left to fill any gaps.

25 year anniversary next year, so a game is definitely confirmed. Most likely dp remakes. Ideally a gap year and then gen 9 (california) in 2023, although probably it will probably get released 2022.

Shit you're right I forgot about that milestone. 20th anniversary was fun even if the games turned out disappointing. Hope they have some fun things planned like big twitch anime marathons
