I'm admittedly kind of butthurt that the Britain Pokemon region turned out so lackluster, also shocked that I feel like as only an amerifat who studied british history I had better ideas than the actual British guy who worked on it.

I feel like in order to do North America right it really needs to be done in several subregions. Do one for New England, Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes, Deep South etc. The Midwest would be a great wild area though.

Yes, it's hard only to get assets and create completely original maps, as well as keep low-profile. And convert swf animation to a compatible format.

Maybe there are too many towns because the game features a "job system" from classic RPG's. I posted it in another thread but thought, "the region should feature more cities/towns than any other to make the game playable"
