It makes more sense if it had kept the Level 70 from DP. No idea why they reduced it to Level 1.

The three titans should've just been regular catches in Platinum. Either that or trigger them with an event OTHER THAN an event Regigigas.

Level 1 legendaries is an interesting enough novelty along with the Dialga/Palkia/Giritina from the HGSS Arceus event. Plus having to catch a legendary at level 1 requires some more effort on your part since hitting it is out of the question sans having False Swipe.

It wasn't a cool sidequest because the end of it was so retarded. If they had made it so you can get the legendary titans without the stupid event Regigigas, THEN get the Regigigas at the temple, AND made it not Level fucking 1 (one), then it would've been cool.

I think the fact that it was Lv. 1 is kind of cool, but yes, needing to have a Lv. 70 Regigigas in order to get a Lv. 1 Regigigas is stupid.

I'm pretty sure Game Freak expected players to transfer their Regi's from RSE. Then at some point they realized players either couldn't figure it out or weren't transferring for another reason so they did the event Regigigas and made the OG Regi's available in Platinum event chambers if you had it. The Regis also happen to be the only 3 non-mythical Pokemon that cannot be obtained in any way in all of Gen 4 without transfer or having an event Pokemon.
