>>43633777Maybe death/eradication isn't a very precise word, but "fading into irrelevance" is probably what OP is implying. I haven't seen artists linking their tumblrs in ages, I haven't thought about forums on ages, and blogs maybe come up once a blue moon for scanlation or warez.
If it does fade into obscurity then it probably won't be worth following artists there VS other places. They might silently stop posting there, not update their galleries as frequently, etc.
All that said, I'm not sure the site update is actually gonna inspire people to leave. People complaining about a layout update and then sticking around anyway wouldn't be shocking whatsoever.
DA made the hate worse for itself by having Eclipse loom around in beta mode for so long, so I find it hard to tell how unusable the design actually is for most people.
