I quit Pokemon because of gen 8, but I keep coming to the board every now and then to check on the state of things, as well as Clover recently.
It's always a disappointment to see the discussion hasn't moved an inch from where it was when I used to post. Genwars used to be fun because most games had their redeeming qualities, but now it's just depressing because the latest games have none.

I miss the /tr/ days when genwars consisted of people making shit up about their favorite gens and throwing around goofy anecdotes.
It seemed more like a massive piss-take than people sincerely mad that pokemon fans like pokemon games.
