I knock them out. I don't care about dex completion and don't like most legendary pokemon very much so I just view them as an easy boss level. However, in some cases I actually do catch the legendary, such as with the regi trio in gen 3 and the gen 5 dragons, tho I'll admit that one is forced anyway in bw1

I was so tired of USUM that I didn't catch any legendary, though. Necrozma is still crashed near the League lmao.
Back in gen 4 I used them to beat the League for fun, though. Just to check out their back sprites and new move animations.

I join raids to farm candy and TRs, so I’d prefer to go through each one as fast as possible, not hold your hands while you brag about your 0IV shiny with the type disadvantage.

The thing is, I just like playing raids with favorites even if they are shitmons (Gastrodon, Drapion, Bellossom, Mawile, Artcozolt, Froslass, etc.). I would say "just play with your favorites", but I won't, because I know that not everybody's favorites survived the culling. I happen to be one of the luckier ones when it comes to the dexcut.

I found myself using raikou on multiple occasions as it's my favorite electric type. Otherwise not really. I do catch the box legendaries just for "collection" even if I don't need them

First playthrough I don't use them, any casual replay after if there's one I'm actually interested in using I don't mind. No reason to stop myself from using a Pokemon I like.

Zamazenta's Wide Guard was the only thing that made it possible to beat Gigantamax Snorlax raids, but apart from that I've never used a legendary. But I also don't use psuedos or Pokemon that don't evolve.

I never use Legendary, Mythical, or Pseudos in my in-game party, they're just stat sticks for kids to be able to beat the elite four with, at least they were before they started giving starters better stats and signature moves that can carry you through most of the game regardless

Only for ORAS because they give you a free Lati@s early on.

I typically box them with the exception of Zekrom and Lunala since it felt like I had to use them and the former was endgame/postgame anyway.

That said I'm playing the gens backwards and am currently at gen 5. When I get to Gen 2, I plan to use Ho-Oh in my team for the hell of it.

The only mythicals I’ve ever used regularly are Jirachi and Meloetta because of their awesome movesets. Otherwise I tend to use legendaries to powerup weaker Pokemon in my party when grinding.

I don't like using legendaries. It feels cheap. Like the game thinks I need an uber powerful mon to complete it, despite the game being easy and for children. I can win just fine with my favorites, and anyone who tells me I'm wrong is a fag.

One of the things I got real butthurt about was in the delta episode where it forces you to switch Rayquaza into your party to fight Zinnia. A fight that should have been somewhat challenging and exciting turned into the dullest in the series.

I don't hate legends or people who like them, it's just my preference not to use them.

That's exactly my point. I didn't need Mega Fug at all, and I certainly didn't need it more than an existing member of my party.

I could've swept her using only Swalot and non-mega Gardevoir without even having to look down from whatever I was watching.
