There were a lot of ways to make Inteleon good while also being distinct from Greninja. I don't see why they bothered giving it good stats just to make them barely usable. At the same time, it's an annoying situation to be in that this chameleon of all animals doesn't have Protean when its rabbit friend virtually does.

>Could've made Snipe Shot always crit or given it 100+ BP or made it unaffected by protection and abilities on top of the anti- redirection
>Could've given it Nasty Plot
>Could've given it No Guard and strong low accuracy moves
>Could've buffed Sniper
>Could've given it a new or actually good ability instead of Sniper
>Could've given it a second signature move involving its cape membrane or tail or chameleon disguising
