Hoenn, for instance, we could have gotten them in brail form which I'm envisioning as a cluster of really tiny unown forming a brail glyph. We could get cave painting style unown for Kalos, basically really drive home the idea that these little dudes are everywhere and have been around for as long as humanity has been putting information into images and crafting languages.
There is no "end" to to their plot because there is no "plot", they're mysterious Pokemon somehow related to language and Arceus. Honestly I'd rather them stay that way instead of voltroning together at some point
