Fairies are already good, so I can only imagine clefairy having even more usage. As long as you have a fairy, hydreigon can't click draco, and water/fairy stops it even more so because flash cannon is neutral. If it also had overheat I think it'd have the freedom to just spam both moves.
Would the superpower set be better? It has better physical options than malamar, and roost, which serperior and malamar don't.
