Compare it to Gold & Silver (the original games they're based off), FireRed & LeafGreen (The Remakes that predate it) and Diamond, Pearl and Platinum (the games it bases its engine off).

Here's some ideas I'd talk about in a conversation:
>How they preserved so much from the original - both good and bad (good, for example like the gym leaders using the exact same Pokémon, and also how there's a big level gap after the 8th gym and E4)
>Compare the upgrades with how FRLG upgraded RBY
>Showcase all the attention to detail; things like the leaves at Ho Oh's tower and the slightly changed Team Rocket
>Talk about the music because it's some of the most memorable in the entire franchise, also GB Sounds is fucking important
>I'd like to see someone actually talk about Pokémon's political commentary; for example Kanto was based on the Kanto region and Tokyo, and a lot of stuff in RBY is commentary on pollution and weird tech like cloning and VR (Porygon); Johto was a contrast to that being so heavily based on traditional Japan (since it's Kyoto) and I never see anyone talk about that side of the franchise
>Don't forgot the stuff it has to connect it with DPP
Try and keep it unbiased; it's great if you can say "I really like this" but don't say "It's objectively great because I like it".

To the ORAS vid? just look up ShayMay he made the vid. It's a good vid, he uses ORAS to basically review pokemon as a franchise, and the whole thing is very precise and in depth.

Use them to show up Sword & Shield. Talk about how Following Pokémon weren't even a main feature; just something extra they put in for fun.

Also, isn't it funny that HGSS had literally THE POKÉMON OLYMPICS and SS doesn't despite coming out during its home country's Olympics? Pathetic.

Dude that sucks. They’re running $100+. I never sold my stuff thank goodness and am currently prepping my Pokémon for transfer to my storage game (black 1). After that I’m whipping everything and enjoying the glory days I didn’t even know I longed for. Honestly I’ve been wasting 10+ years on games that aren’t Pokémon, and I’m finally coming home to Sinnoh :)

After writing an intro and playing up to the first badge and taking some notes, I'm thinking a video like the ORAS 7 Hour one would be a cool idea. I think his video is great, and it would be interesting to watch one done on one of the games that's considered S tier rather than shit tier. I'll post it here when I'm done if I ever follow through all the way. It will be a long project to complete. but I have quarantine and unemployment $.
