>>43664959I completely agree. The only time I've ever carried mons over was from gens 3-5 and that's just because the postgames can be a lot of fun, other than that I legitimately do not give a shit. Honestly if the new games are going to focus on storied content then I'd prefer if they really double down on it and focus on making the in game battles a much more enjoyable and balanced experience. As it is I only ever enjoyed pokemon for the immersion and exploration, if they aren't going to give me that while improving nothing else then the games are gonna continue to suck. If I wanna play competitive I can do it on showdown
