Mythical = event exclusive mon and nothing else. in terms of in game usefulness / canonical power, Mythicals are NOT better than Legendary.

Mythicals existed since Genwun with Mew; and being a Mythical does not preclude one from being a Legendary, it just means that it is obtainable only through special events and distributions.

The term itself started in Gen V but the concept was unchanged.
